Every Step Counts organise free wellbeing walking groups in the Sevenoaks area for elderly and vulnerable local residents. Wealden met one of the main volunteers at a virtual networking event and learnt that one of the regular walkers (Derek) was approaching his 90th birthday but that they could not find suitable premises to hold a birthday tea for him. Director, Paul Baker, liaised with one of our tenants Brisket & Barrel to not only host the event but, between Brisket & Wealden, provide scones, cake and refreshments. The event was a great success and most importantly Derek had a very enjoyable birthday.
